Lone Star State Ultimate Tournament
We are changing the format this year, in attempt to support our growing community. We have reserved field space for up to 8 High School and 4 Middle School Teams, to participate in a one-day tournament.
High School Team rosters may include up to three alumni, players who graduated in 2018; but, only one on the field at a time.
To participate, compete the team bid application, which requests team captains to distribute information about our sport to players, parents, and school administrators, so that we can increase knowledge and develop a community of support for Ultimate all over Texas.
Early submission is rewarded with a lower team fee. Notice the fee schedule on the application. As soon as volunteer leadership is in place, submit a completed team bid application with appropriate team fee (which is based on the date of reception to: Texas, Ultimate!
Preparing to Travel to College Station
Practice, practice, practice…Each team should be hosting at least one weekly work-out , lasting at least 90 minutes, during the weeks leading up to the tournament day. The Shagger Drill combines all skills, throwing , cutting, stacking, clearing out…you can even add defense!
Each team should recruit volunteer parents to serve as driving chaperones. We request that players do not drive themselves, as it will be a long day of physical activity.
This flyer provides basic information about the day for parents, players and school administrators.

If you had an issue with play after lunch, please submit a score card reflecting that experience. As SOTG is THE governing principle of the Sport of Ultimate, we can never evaluate it enough!
